• The Dobson PMO has decided to add Patrick Malley to the bank account with all other signatures. He has to pay $3,500.00. Our account is short by $3,500 and in addition we have to pay a $1,000 fine. The account has to have a minimum of $10,000 at all times.
All persons who have a signature will meet at the National PC Bank on May 9th to get our account up to date and add Patrick Malley. - Potato seeds: 15 bags of red Pontiac seeds were received from RADA. These were distributed to 7 farmers.
- Clean Up Operation: 30 drums were donated by H&L Agro, not to be used for drinking water but to be used by households in the community for garbage. The H&L Agro logo will be added to all of the drums. There was a cost of $15,000 to transport the drums to Dobson. It was suggested that caging wire be used to keep the drums in position. It was also suggested that the drums be placed in the area of mass van business place in order to accommodate households that are a distance from the road.
- New Garbage Skip: Patrick Malley sent in a proposal to the US Embassy for a new garbage skip in Coleyville. It was further suggested a wire holding area could be erected for the collection of plastic, in hope people would reduce the burning of plastic.
- Drain blockage on Sand Road: The recent heavy rains have caused a blockage of the drain leading down to the river. The drain can’t handle the volume. It is causing problems and water (puddles) on the road. Donald Brown said the drains cannot contain the volume of water. Drains can be extended leading down to the river. It was also suggested to make the entrance firmer with compacted stone.
